Well I felt inspired the other day with a new microphone plugged in so I started throwing down some tracks. It was a particular effect called AG Reverb which I really liked. It reminded of the first Reverb I enjoyed listening to on N-Track studio years ago. This effect had a “Preamp” effect included as well too. Anyways, sounded cool so it got me recording again. I must attribute some inspiration to Bach as well, especially Toccata and Fugue which I’m happily studying.
1. Billy Idol’s “The Dead Next Door”. I was just winging this so it’s not perfect. But I loved that Rebel Yell Album in the 80’s. This was the last track.2. Just Keep on Rockin’ – James Purdie. Next was a little original Jammin’ Chorus to remind us all we got to keep rockin’. The power of musical energy is an incredibly positive energy field. 3. LauraJean – James Purdie. Next little demo track was dedicated to someone special who has taught great number of things in a short time. Introduced “The Master Cleanse,” several other great books, awakened my own interest in writing, in addition to holistic health. Thanks Laurie Jean.4. And We Sing –James Purdie. Next little track is a theatrical tune I envisioned to encourage people to sing more. It’s still being worked on. This song is still in process of getting a nice voice echo to repeat the verses.5. The Outside – Roch Voisine. I wanted to a quick take this song, though I couldn’t remember ending. Still love it though.6. “OO La La”- James Purdie. This is a funny little song I put together several years ago in Korea. I wasn’t satisfied with it previously, but when I put on a Tremolo effect the other day, suddenly it came to life also with a few added lead riffs. The funny character that came out for this is funny.
