I woke up one morning near Christmas…
I came downstairs and,
LO!
There were these big colorful,
orbs spread all round my kitchen counter
and spilled onto the floor!
“What were these things!” I wondered
in amazement holding them in my hands,
looking at the purplish colors and various patterns.
These things like double-sized-apples!
And how did they appear in my kitchen
like a Christmas present surprise?
Could they be? Oh my goodness!
I had forgotten that I was soaking
my beans before cooking for several days before
and somehow they had swollen to this enormous size!
But what a delicious surprise it was!
Those “magic beans!”
Just a happy dream!
